As a Dad, I get hungry.
Good news is I have daughters. More specifically, I have a 14 year old, middle daughter who likes to bake.
WIN!
And at any time I can say, “I need something sweet.” And she’ll respond with, “want me to bake you something?”
Yep, gotta like those daughters.
So I have this co-worker demanding, yes demanding ( you shoulda read the email) that we all bring food tomorrow for some lame reason.
Boom. Middle daughter goes into action and totes rocked out a sweet batch of Oreo Truffles.
My daughter’s presenation of my Oreo Truffles.
I must warn you, they are deadly yummy.
Oreo Truffles
Ingredients
1 – 8 ounce package of Oreos – finely crushed. Don’t buy those other lame-o brands. Oreos rock.
1 – 8 ounce package cream cheese – softened
1 pound white baking chocolate – melted
Here’s whatcha do:
Crush the Oreos and cream cheese in something resembling a bowl. I wouldn’t do it on the floor or anythnig like that. Beat with mixer on low speed until well twirled. Form 1-inch wads by hand. Dip wads in white chocolate then place on baking sheet covered with waxed paper (if you don’t you’ll regret it forever). Refrigerate 1 hour or until firm. To store, cover and refrigerate. Makes about 50 truffles wads.
Sweet and spectacular! My daughter, that is.
