Back in about 2007 I attended an entrepreneur conference and met Money Saving Mom, Crystal Paine. And let me tell you, she is a money MAKING Mom. Anyway, she gave me some killer advice that took me to the next level in making money online.
After I told her what I was doing and how much I was making (I had one blog and was making over $1000 a month with Google Adsense) she said, “you need to find multiple sources of income for your blog.”
She mentioned researching:
1. multiple ad networks
2. direct ad sales
3. ebooks
4. affiliate links
5. subscriptions
These all were fairly foreign concepts to me. She went on to tell me a quick story about an ebook she wrote. I’ll make it even shorter and it goes like this:
She wrote an ebook. She sold $40,000 worth of that single ebook in two months.
Money. Making. Mom.
As you might guess, I hit it pretty hard when I got home. Today I’ll share one very simple and easy resources I found to diversify my income on my blog.
